Dear Matt,

 

I just wanted to THANK YOU again for being my HERO Real Estate Agent and finding the perfect beach home for me!  

 

My boyfriend and I drove down to Delaware from Maryland, to meet with you the first time in the summer of 2016 -- and you patiently helped me figure out what type of property that suited me best!  On my first trip to view properties, you showed me a beautiful spacious condo, a lovely townhouse, and finally a house in an established neighborhood---all within a 10-minute drive to the beach, as I had requested.  I quickly realized what I really wanted was a house with a yard for my dogs—but still within minutes of the beach!  So over the next year I looked forward to receiving your real estate listing updates, and one day in June, 2017 a pretty little white, 1-story Cape Cod popped up in the listings---and I knew I had found MY home!  I contacted you and asked how long it had been on the market and you responded, “Six days”!  So I dropped everything and drove to DE the very next morning to see house, and KNEW it was meant for me!  As with every big decision, I needed to sleep on it.  So I drove home that same night, and when I woke up the next day, I knew it was the right decision, so I contacted you, and submitted an offer!  After just a couple of days of negotiation, the seller and I agreed on a price---and I was on my way to owning this adorable, perfect home for me!  You connected me with an excellent DE based mortgage company, and we began the mortgage application process.  The BIG wrinkle at this point was that I was purchasing this home, along with my sister and her husband who live in GA (an investment for them), and so our paper work was more complicated with three borrowers, in two different locations.  The mortgage company coordinated everything very smoothly---while YOU were kind enough to meet the home inspector for me, and helped me with various other questions that arose.

 

I have spent the last several months having improvements done inside, a fence and shed installed in my backyard, and delivery of new furniture.  And now…I have a beautiful beach home fully furnished and ready to enjoy next spring!

 

THANK YOU again for all you did to help me realize my life long dream to have a home at the beach!  If I am ever looking again---or my family or friends are looking to buy in Delaware—I will definitely send them to you, Matt!
